Located in Powderhorn Village, Grand Getaway is only two blocks away from the main ski area of Big Powderhorn Mountain. Walk, drive or hop on the free Powderhorn shuttle and quickly get to the slopes. The Grand Getaway is perfect for a small family or for a couple looking for a romantic getaway.

There are one and 1/2 bathrooms at the chalet. Both are newly remodeled in slate and marble.
The main bathroom at the chalet offers marble floors with a 5 X 6 foot walk in sit down steam shower to help ease those muscles after a day on the slopes. If you prefer to lounge in a tub, there is also a romantic two person Jacuzzi brand tub waiting for you.
The living room offers terrific views of the slopes as well as a beautiful stone gas fireplace. Oversized couches with tons of large pillows allow you to enjoy the warmth of the fireplace. A large color television is equipped with cable, a DVD player and VCR player. There is a nice selection of both DVD's and VCR tapes. The chalet also has a wall CD stereo system
High speed wireless internet is provided in the chalet so you can easily surf the net while you are enjoying a glass of your favorite beverage in front of the gas fireplace!
A large farm style wood table with seating for 6 (additional stools are available in the chalet) provides a cozy area to enjoy your meals. The dining area overlooks new sliding doors which go directly to the chalet's elevated wood deck. The deck offers a dramatic view of the Big Powderhorn ski area.
The master bedroom is decorated in a rustic motif of red and green. The bedroom has a queen size bed with a warm comforter. A 20 inch flat screen television and DVD player provides you with the opportunity to relax in bed as you watch your favorite movie.
The second floor offers two bedrooms. Both have new queen size beds and cable television. 
The third floor loft area offers two more queen size beds. A newly remodeled slate haft bath is situated nest to these two bedrooms. The second floor landing is open to the living area below.
