Kristofer's is well-known for offering some of the
finest dessert selections in Door County. All desserts
are homemade by Chef Milligan. As
with entrees, dessert selections change based on availability
of fresh fruits of the season. Signature items include
such elegant presentations as mousse desserts encased
in chocolate ribbons, white chocolate Door County cherry
tarts and homemade sorbets and ice creams. Below is a sample of our dessert offerings. Items do vary nightly.
Meringue Swans with Strawberry Sauce
Meringue is shaped into a "swan" and filled with French vanilla ice cream. Finished with a strawberry puree Pictured at right .
Door County Cherry and Wild Blueberry Pie
Our homemade double crusted pie is filled with Door County cherries and wild Maine blueberries. Served with a scoop of French vanilla ice cream.
Baked Alaska with Brown Sugar Meringue
Individual baked Alaska made with chocolate caramel cashew ice cream and finished with a brown sugar meringue. Served with a splash of homemade caramel sauce.
Mile High Cheesecake
Our homemade cheesecake is served with your choice of homemade caramel sauce or chocolate sauce.
Lemon Mousse Tower
Homemade lemon mousse is piped into a cylindar tower. Served with fresh strawberry puree.
Creme Brulee -flamed tableside
A rich custard flavored with fresh vanilla bean.
The brulee is caramelized in our kitchen then brought
to the table and flamed by your server.
Key Lime Mousse Cake (seasonal)
Key lime juice is combined with white chocolate and Italian mascarpone cheese to create a delicious mousse that rests on a gingersnap crust.
Homemade Ice Cream or Sorbet of the Day
A different homemade ice cream and sorbet is offered
each week. Sample sorbets include Nectarine, blood orange, Door County cherry
and raspberry, pear ginger and blackberry zinfandel. Sample ice
creams include white chocolate with toasted almonds,
creme de menthe with chopped imported chocolate, and
pumpkin spice.
