Kristofer's offers a variety of special events including mid-week promotions and wine dinner cooking classes.  

During the quiet season (November though April) Chef Terri Milligan offers a monthly Gourmet Wine Dinner and Demonstration Cooking Class. 
Our first gourmet dinner and wine cooking class is scheduled for Friday, October 24.   Details are below.

Our special events and cooking classes are always announced on our website first.    To be the first to receive information on these events, sign up for our monthly e-recipe club.   You will receive an announcement from Chef Milligan every month announcing our new on line recipe plus the announcement of any new special restaurant events. The e-mail will also include an additional free recipe from Chef Milligan.   Our list is never shared or sold.

East Meets West
Gourmet Wine Dinner and Demonstration Cooking Class

Friday, October 24   6:00 p. m.
$67 per person includes five course dinner, one hour demonstration cooking class
complimentary champagne, two glasses of California wines served with dinner,
tax and gratuity.


Cooking ClassJoin Chef Terri Milligan for a terrific five course Gourmet Wine Dinner and Cooking Class on Friday, October 21.

Our "East Meets West" event will feature the presentation of a five course Asian inspired meal.    Chef Terri Milligan has compiled a five course gourmet dinner featuring Asian inspired ingridents and recipes.   Restaurant co-owner Chris Milligan will be matching the courses with two specially selected West Cost wines.   The recipes for the dinner will be demonstrated in a one hour cooking class prior to the dinner.

Following the cooking class demonstration, participants will enjoy a five cours
Cooking Classe gourmet dinner.      The dinner will begin with an "Amuse Bouche" (small appetizer sampling) of homemade vegetarian nori rolls with two dipping sauces.     The first course of Crab and Fennel Wontons with Magno Lime puree will be followed by Chef Milligan's stuning Mirin marinated cucumber salad with shaved fennel and corriander Enrusted Tuna.     A green tea sorbet cleanser will prepare diners for the main course of a Achiote Duck Breasts with sweet potato hash and Asian Pear & Apple reduction    For dessert, it is a terrific twist on our classic creme brulee.   Chef Milligan will infuse her famous creme brulee with star anise and fresh ginger for an Asian twist.

Cooking ClassThe price of $67 per person includes the cooking demonstration class, the five course dinner with champagne and two wines, tax and gratuity.     Participants also receive a copy of all the recipes served at the dinner.

Cooking ClassThe Church Hill Inn is pleased to have joined Chef Terri Milligan as she presents her 2008 Cooking in Wine Country Artisan Culinary Weekend. The weekend begins on Friday, November 14 with a welcoming reception at the Church Hill Inn with Chef Terri Milligan of the Inn at Kristofer’s.  

Saturday morning all guests will enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Church Hill Inn before departing for the Inn at Kristofer's for a hands on cooking class with chef and owner Terri Milligan.

The hands on cooking class will take place in Kristofer’s professional kitchen.   Participants will work with Chef Milligan to create a wonderful menu incorporating wine in various aspects of the menu.   Additionally, many of the recipes which will be made are from some of Chef Milligan’s favorite California wine county restaurants!  Following class,   participants will enjoy a delicious lunch with wine .

Cooking ClassSaturday evening you will join your fellow participants at the Church Hill Inn for appetizers and champagne before departing to the Inn at Kristofer’s for a special dinner.    The evening’s menu will consist of the Artisan Wine Country Menu taught in the morning’s class.   A special wine will be selected by co-owner Chris Milligan to accompany your meal. Then Sunday morning enjoy a gourmet breakfast presented by Church Hill Inn innkeepers,  Mike and Wendy Goldstone.  

Rates for the weekend include accommodations at the Church Hill Inn for two on Friday and Saturday, breakfast for two on Saturday and Sunday morning, one participation cooking class with Chef Milligan and dinner for two at the Inn at Kristofer's. (Extra cooking class participant is $130.) 

Cooking in Wine Country Artisan Cooking Class and Dinner Menu
Fresh Mozzarella Piadine with Arugula and Grilled Chicken
(a Tuscan style pizza which participants will make in class and have for their lunch)
Tomato Tatin with Basil Scented Montrachet and Truffle Hollandaise Sauce
Fresh Norwegian Salmon Roulades with Herb and Citrus Stuffing
Finished with a Saffron Chardonnay Sauce
Pears Helene
 (Pears poached in Riesling wine served with bittersweet chocolate sauce)
