February Duet Dinners for Two

Join us any evening in February and enjoy our special Duet Dinner for Two special.   Enjoy a shared appetizer, a soup or salad for each person, an entree for each person and a shared appetizer.

The duet dinners are an addition to our regular dinner menu which is also served every evening.
    The $5 at 5 promotion is not available with the duet dinner menu

    
Chef Milligan also presents monthly gourmet dinners with a cooking class.     The events are announced on line.    Our upcoming dinner cooking classes are sold out, however theh Chef will be announcing a new dinner and class for April soon.

A Nite in Argentina Gourmet Wine Dinner
and Cooking Class

Join Chef Terri Milligan for a fun evening exploring the foods and wines of Argentina.    While Argentina and its culinary heritage are primarily of European origin,  the foods of the area offer a cultural crossroads of flavor.   Argentina also ranks fifth in wine production in the world.   Two favorite wines, one white and one red, will be poured during the dinner.   One will be a classic red Malbac while the other will be a white Torrontos.
 

The evening begins with a one hour cooking demonstration by Chef Milligan, She will show guests how to prepare select items that arSwan decoratinge on the evening's menu. Complimentary champagne and some Argentinean"nibbles" will be served during the demonstration.

 

Following the demonstration, guests will be seated in our main dining room which overlooks the waters of Green Bay.  The five course dinner will begin a first course of grilled calamari steak served over spicy black beans.    The salad wSwan decoratingill be a mixture of hearts of palm, red onion and avocado.    After a sorbet cleanser, the main course of roast beef tenderloin with a classic Argentinean chimichurri will be served.   Chimichurri is a mixture of fresh herbs and garlic with olive oil.

Dessert will be a a chocolate crepe filled with creamy dulce de leche, a caramelized milk filling.

The cost of the event is $61 per person and includes the demonstration cooking class, five course dinner, two glasses of wine, coffee or tea and tax. You will also receive a copy of all the recipes to recreate the dinner at home. Learn about Spanish food and wines in our February gourmet dinner and cooking class.     Spanish wines have been broadening in their appeal during the last few years.   Owners Chris Milligan and Terri Milligan have coupled two excellent Spanish wines to accompany a delicious Spanish themed dinner.
 

The evening begins with a  one hour cooking demonstration by Chef Milligan, She will show guests how to prepare select items that are on the evening's menu. Complimentary sangria and hors d'oeuvres will be served during the demonstration.

Following the demonstration, guests will be seated in our main dining room which overlooks the waters of Green Bay.  The five course dinner will begin with a tapa made with Spanish chorizo braised in red wine.     A salad of apple, fennel, black olives and oranges will follow.   The vinaigrette for the salad course will be made with an orange infused olive oil from the Oilere in Fish Creek Wisconsin.    Participants will receive an Oilerie $5 off of a $25 purchase coupon at the class in case they want to go pick some up!

The main course for the evening is a terrific paella recipe featuring chicken and a variety of shellfish (if you are unable to have shellfish, just let us know and we will prepare the dish without them for you!)

Or dessert is a Spanish version of creme brulee called Catalina crema.   Two Spanish wines will be served with the meal.
