During the "quiet season" (November thru April),    Chef Milligan offers a variety of special events.     We currently have availability in our April Out of Africa dinner class.      

We also  have availability in our special May Culinary Weekend event held in conjuntion with the Church Hill Inn located in Sister Bay .
   Enjoy a weekend of culinary delights including a hands on cooking class with Chef Milligan, a special coursed dinner Saturday evening at Kristofer's, gourmet breakfasts and a wine and appetizer reception with Kristofer's co-owner, Chris Milligan.

Italian "Fun"dementals Gourmet Dinner and One Hour Cooking Demonstration

Learn to make gnocchi and ravioli in this terrific demonstration cooking class followed by a five course dinner featuring the wines of the Frances Ford Coppola Vineyard.

Chef Terri Milligan, will show participants how to make homemadeSwan decorating  gnocchi (Italian potato dumplings) and fresh pasta.   She will then make a delicious montrachet and seafood ravioli which will be used in the evening's main course.   Following the one hour cooking demonstration, you will be seated in the restaurant's main floor dining room overlooking the waters of Green Bay for a memorable five course dinner featuring the recipes taught in class.  Co-owner Chris Milligan will pour two wines from the Coppola Vineyard toSwan decorating accompany the dinner.   

The menu for the evening begins Herb Gnocchi Della Donna (featuring gnocchi tossed with fresh tomatoes and kalamata olives with shaved Wisconsin made Parmesan cheese) followed by classic Caesar salad with shaved Wisconsin made Parmesan cheese.    A sorbet cleansing will be served followed by the entree of grilled salmon resting on top of homemade seafood ravioli and finished with a citrus beurre blanc reduction.    A dessert of an iced Amaretto mousse coupled with a miniature pear tart will conclude the meal.

Out of Africa Five Course Gourmet Dinner with One Hour Cooking Demonstration
Friday, April 23   -  6:00 p.m.
$69 per person  

Our April gourmet dinner and cooking class will be an adventure to Africa!   Join Chef Milligan as she prepares dishes from various regions of Africa featuring local recipes and ingredients including South African lobster tails and ribs.   Chris Milligan has also selected two wines from Africa to accompany the meal.

The menu for the evening begins with an appetizer of South African ribs.     Our salad will feature a mango salad with a vinaigrette made with Bourbon Island vanilla and mangos.     A sorbet  cleanser will follow.   Our main course will be half of a grilled South African lobster tail and two large shrimp prepared in a North African spice flavored reduction served on couscous flavored wtih curry and dates.    Chef Milligan will prepare a Mount Kenya Mango Ice Cream Coupe/

Join Chef Milligan in her restaurant kitchen for a morning hands on participation cooking class.    Chef coats and aprons will be provided as students prepare an entire spring dinner menu including a terrific lamb entree.    After class, the students will enjoy the menu a lunch with fellow classmates which will include a glass of wine specially selected by co-owner Chris Milligan.

The class includes the preparation of the following recipes: an appetizer course of crepe appetizer filled with wild mushrooms (morels if available), asparagus and brie cheese and finished with a truffle flavored hollandaise sauce and a main course of roasted lamb rack with a carrot ginger sauce served on a risotto cake.   Dessert with be a show stopping swan cream puff filled with Grand Marnier flavored whipped cream andSwan decorating finished with bittersweet chocolate sauce.   Students will be able to take home the additional swans and shrimp cakes that they make in class.

Spring Culinary Weekend
Presented by the Church Hill Inn and the Inn at Kristofer's
A weekend full of culinary adventure including two nights accommodations for two at the Church Hill Inn, breakfast for two on Saturday and Sunday, a participation cooking class for one and dinner on Saturday evening at Kristofer's
Friday, May 7 through Sunday May 9

The weekend begins on Friday, May 7 with an evening welcome reception with Kristofer's owner, Chrisi Milligan.  Enjoy light appetizers and a glass of champagne at the Church Hill Inn. 

Saturday morning all guests will enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Church Hill Inn before departing for the Inn at Kristofer's for a hands on cooking class with chef and co-owner Terri Milligan.   The hands on class will take Swan decoratingplace in Kristofer's professional restaurant kitchen.   Following class, participants will join Chef Milligan fora private lunch with wine in the restaurant's main dining room.   After lunch, take the afternoon to unwind and relax and enjoy the spring beauty of Door County!

Saturday evening you will join your fellow cooking classmates for a terrific dinner at the
Cooking ClassInn at Kristofer's.   The menu will consist of the items you were taught in class.   Two special wines will be selected by co-owner Chris Milligan to accompany your meal.     Sunday morning, enjoy aCooking Classnother terrific breakfast at the Church Hill Inn before departing.   

Rates for the weekend
  are based on double occupancy and include breakfast for two on Saturday and Sunday, one participant in the cooking class with Chef Milligan, dinner for two Saturday evening at the Inn at Kristofer's and the Friday evening wine and appetizer reception.   If both individuals in the room would like to take the cooking class add an additional $125.
